Kentucky Needs to Enact Smoke-free Law

TIMES-TRIBUNE | ANNA JONES | NOVEMBER 20, 2013 As president of the Kentucky Society for Respiratory Care and a board member of the Kentucky Rural Health Association, I urge state lawmakers to enact a smoke-free law, which would greatly benefit the health of Kentuckians. This is great news as the Smoke-Free Kentucky campaign continues its two-pronged efforts at both the local and statewide levels. We anticipate that another comprehensive statewide bill will be filed prior to the beginning of Kentucky’s legislative session in January.
