08/01/12: Support a smoke-free Kentucky

CLINE | AUGUST 1, 2012 This week the Smoke-Free Kentucky Coalition will be taking its message of support for a comprehensive statewide smoke-free law across the Commonwealth during their “Road to Fancy Farm” bus tour. Although the van will not be coming to the Olive Hill/ Grayson area, supporters are rallying behind their message – “Everyone has the right to breathe smoke-free air!”
01/12/11: Smoking Ban Coming to Carter County?

JOURNAL TIMES | LEEANN AKERS | JANUARY 12, 2011 | A bill introduced in the General Assembly last week, if passed, would make smoking in public places illegal across the state. The legislation is sponsored by Rep. Susan Westrom, D-Lexington. It would ban smoking in all indoor workplaces with at least one employee, including restaurants, bars and private clubs.
