Smoking Cessation Class Proposed in Carrollton

MADISON COURIER | KRISTEN SNYDER | SEPTEMBER 13, 2011 | The Three Rivers District Health Department will help City of Carrollton employees stop smoking through a smoking cessation class proposed by Health Department employee Becky Wilson during the Carrollton City Council meeting Monday. The 13-week program will be free to employees and will meet once a week for an hour. The program will use nicotine replacement therapy of the patient’s choice – patches, lozenges or gum – to quit smoking.

Kentucky Health Issues Poll: Analysis Complete, Region Specific Reports Issued

Final analysis of the 2010 Kentucky Health Issues Poll (KHIP) has been completed, including a report specific to the Northern Kentucky region.
